Lighting design and engineering for Europe’s largest hospital complex, with over 75,000 m² of net floor area. Patient health, caregiver comfort, lighting and guidance, energy savings… these are just some of the issues addressed in this complex project, in which we are providing lighting for all premises, including operating theatres and outdoor areas. The lighting highlights the scenography designed by the architects and provides invisible lighting qualities (circadian lighting) to reduce recovery times for patients who have undergone surgery. Particular attention has been paid to preserving biodiversity, with outdoor lighting activated by presence detection, significantly reducing light pollution.
